The morning foursomes saw Yorkshire take a big 4-1 lead with the only Cheshire win coming from Dean Lenahan and Harvey Taylor.
Cheshire Boys Captain Matty Griffiths (Lymm) signed off with a big 6&4 win before jetting of to the USA the following day to begin his golf scholarship.
Cheshire’s other points came from Will Furness and Austin Eastwood plus a half from Jack Barnes.
Sadly a 10.5-4.5 defeat meant that Yorkshire retain the Boys Northern Counties League.
But Cheshire remain very optimistic that the outstanding young talent coming through the ranks will see them looking forward to success again in the near future.
